I’ve been going to Craftsman Auto for years. I used to go to the location in Fairfax but when I moved to Mclean I started going to this location as it was super close to my apartment. I moved out of the immediate area a few months ago and I still come back for service. Prices are fair (they always have coupons on their website for things like oil changes) and they never try and upsell you on services you don’t need. They’ll provide you a list of recommended maintenance services and mark which ones are a priority but never try and pressure you into paying for them right now, it’s all just for you to keep in mind next time you need service. A lot of times it’s easy for women to get scammed when it comes to car stuff but not here – I know that what they tell me and/or recommend and how much they charge for it is the same they’d tell a man. Wait times are reasonable, they have snacks and a coffee machine, and the staff is super friendly. My tires always get low pressure during winter and the guys here have checked my pressure and topped off the air at no charge several times. It’s nice to have a place I know is consistent and reliable in case I ever have an urgent problem. Highly recommend!
