This is a follow up to my 5 star review from a year ago. We recently took our car for a thorough check up before an out of town trip and learned that the checkup was NOT thorough when our brakes began to fail 100 miles into our 400 mile road trip. According to the out of town repair shop, our rear brakes were so rusted they were fixed in place. This amount of rust does not appear over night. We had to spend over $1,200 to have our car repaired. Upon our return to town, I contacted Wayne to get a better understanding for how this might have been missed and was met with nonchalance and a blatant disregard for what my family experienced. Since this situation threatened my family’s safety and McLean auto showed a lack of care for this, I wanted to update my prior review. We are no longer taking our cars here. This saddens us after 2 years of great experiences. Had their response to what happened been different, we might have continued going.
