**UPDATE 6/27/19 I am very happy to say my issue was resolved from the previous review. Matt Curry followed up about this experience and generously refunded me for the service in question. I appreciate his kindness and understanding. Although I have moved to the west coast, friends and family in VA are pleased to know Craftsman offers great customer service. Thank you! Original review: I’m sad to give this place a 2 star review, but after a long and exhausting experience that resulted in unnecessary payments and unfair charges I have to write this honest and negative review. I first found Craftsman because they’re close to my house and did a wonderful job when my tire pressure was low and needed filled. Before going on my road trip moving from VA to CA, I decided to stop by for an oil change and check up. Doyle was very kind and informative and suggested some urgent items that needed addressed before my trip. This included 4 new tires and an evacuate & recharge for my AC that hadn’t been working properly. I decided to invest the $1000 to ensure the car would be ok on the drive. A week later I start driving and after a 7 hour day sleep in NC. The next morning I hear rattling and my AC is not working. I take it to a local shop and am informed my AC compressor pump is bad and urgently needs replaced to avoid it catching fire. Distressed, I call Doyle and explain the situation and ask if there’s anything Craftsman can do to help alleviate the cost, since I am moving to CA and can’t come back in for the free check up for the work completed. He says he’ll speak to his manager and see. I end up getting the work done and spending another $1400 to get the car back and running. I reach out to Craftsman again explaining the situation and offering to fax the invoices of the repairs to try and get a refund for the $213.55 AC evac & recharge since it’s a duplicate cost and did not fix the problem. Crickets…No answer from the team and no reply from Doyle. Overall I’m very disappointed in the quality of care and concern they’ve shown me. Everyone was so kind at the beginning, and now that there was a mistake they are not willing to compensate or help in any way. I’m more sad about the customer service and avoidance of my situation than the charges. Please Craftsman, do better and treat your customers like humans. Thank you!
