Craftsman Auto Care - Fairfax
Superb service. Came in 6 minutes before they closed with a screw in my tire and they fixed it with no hesitancy. They fixed it so quick and I was back safely on the road without having to miss work in the morning. I had gone to Mr Tire next door first, but they said they were closing in an hour and couldn’t do it. Relieved craftsman helped me out and will use them again for auto repair.

Great mechanic! The shop is super clean and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and does the work really quickly. The price was fair and they even did a very thorough inspection to make sure everything was good. My car can be a little unique to work on, which makes finding the right mechanic hard. I’ve had previous shops screw a lot up. But I was quite pleased with Craftsman Auto Care’s knowledge and performance and will definitely be back! I think this will be the shop I go to from now on.

Tried this new shop and so glad I did. Courteous, even if you are not sure what is going on with your car. Accurate diagnosis and fixed on one visit. Certified mechanics are nice to talk with, and yes, you can talk with the mechanic directly. No bogus laundry list of "emergencies" recommended when you go to pay the bill. What was recommended is what I know it does need. The car is a 23 year old Chrysler with a Mitsubishi engine with the service engine light on. The correction was to locate and fix one vacuum leak, replace the EGR valve, and replace the upstream O2 sensor. Service engine lights is off and stays off, idle is smooth and the car is back to running great. Highly recommend.

I’m a travel nurse and sometimes it can be very hit or miss with automotive care, especially when not familiar with the area. This place was definitely a hit!
