These guys are super polite and professional. I asked for an alignment due to steering wheel vibration, but they said my alignment was perfect. I was advised my wheels could be out of balance. I asked them to balance the front wheels for around $40. They balanced all 4 wheels and only charged me for 2, and all steering vibration is gone. Service was performed fast. Would recommend.

Great service. A little pricey, but the quality of work, customer service, and piece of mind knowing the job was done right are worth the extra few dollars.

This was my second time working with Craftsman Auto in Fairfax and the interaction was just as pleasant as the first time (which was about 1 year ago). I highly recommend them! Everyone there is extremely professional and helpful. The store Manager went out of his way to help me with every question I had. We will definitely be returning with all of our car needs. I visited this location while visiting family in DC as I'm from out of town and experiencing issues with my car. I had a good experience at the Lee Hwy location a few years ago with my old Honda. I now have a Subaru and they were good about scheduling me with short notice. I arrived shortly after they opened and was told about an hour or 2. I ended up waiting nearby thinking it'd be short but it took 3+ hours for only the inspection and a fluid change. They also tried charging me a $60 inspection fee when I was told on the phone they do a courtesy exam - so he took that off. I still paid $200 for just a front differential fluid change which seems higher than average. I was also told my front differential was likely damaged and would need replaced. The issue is still persisting so I plan to have a few other opinions once I return home to NC. Overall OK experience, they were cordial in communicating but I didn't feel it was great especially compared to previous experiences at the other location.

Friendly, professional staff. I popped by with a pretty unusual request. The tire for my riding lawn mower had gone flat. The local tire service center wouldn’t touch it, but the staff at Craftsman fixed it on the spot. I’m very pleased. This is also the location I’ve taken my truck to for inspection the last 5 years.

I requested an inspection/emissions test and I have never received such a detail analysis on all the items they check off and what they look out for. They even take pictures to provide a more detailed concept of what they are looking for/at. It really helped me understand my vehicle better. They were kind and descriptive with me about what they had done and suggestions on what I will need to do following through with the vehicle with an estimate of the services I'll eventually need.
