I feel like I'm getting a fair, and generally truthful assessment when I go to Craftsman Auto. I brought a used car for sale in to get a "once over" assessment to determine if it had any issues to be aware of and to potentially negotiate the price to a more reasonable one, with this info. It was helpful, but I didn't end up with the car, but I will do it again if the prices return to stability. The only down side if there is, is that time estimates seem to usually be longer than estimated.

I wanted to get my new wheels (custom) installed to my existing tires. I got scheduled for next day 10 am to replace wheels and balance. I researched about balancing technology and found few places in Herndon use Hunter road force wheel balacer. Mr tire and few brand name shops denies saying they cant use my existing tires to do this. They don't accept and work on customer provided tires as a policy. My Tesla is just 5 days old (50 miles ) and wanted to get custom wheels installed to the same factory tires. I got quotes from $220 - $260 and curry auto was the lowest. I paid something close to $170 at this place. Some places asked what car is this and quoted higher. Currys didn't asked me for the brand of the car and gave me $50 per tire as a rough estimate. Great service, customer waiting area had coffe, tea , etc.. provided. Technician was friendly and all the team was excellent in their customer care. I dont remember my technician name but he is really helpful explaining me things. I forgot to give him hub centric wheels rings. My custom wheel is a bit off from Tesla stock hub diameter. When technician was done with 3 wheels installed i said i forgot to give him hub rings. He accepted it without making any complain. Some gets frustrated mostly because they have to take three wheels out to add hub rings. I tip him for his great workmanship. will come back for future needs. They are professional from taking the appointment to delivery point.

The staff here are outstanding, cannot recommend them highly enough! They’ve done a wonderful job every time I’ve brought my car in and are very honest and straightforward which as another reviewer mentioned, is EXCEPTIONALLY RARE in this area!

My visit was a pretty good one. I went there to have my some noise issues diagnosed and as it turns out I needed new front brakes. A little pricey but the service and the location made it all worth it. I will definitely use craftsman auto care again.
