Craftsman Auto Care helped get my car back on the road after some electrical problems prevented it from starting. Craftsman accepted my car from the tow truck, analyzed the electrics, completed repairs, conducted a general inspection, and built a comprehensive report about my car. They made a stressful event (when my car didn't start!) into a pleasant experience. Leesa and Drew were particularly helpful when I arranged the drop-off over the phone, and the mechanics did fantastic work on the vehicle. Well done. I will return to Craftsman.

The customer service was beyond expectations. Andrew is a very knowledgeable individual with outstanding customer service skills. I also want to recognize Mason for his professionalism and customer service. Both made me feel like I had been a long time customer, when in reality this was my first time at the shop. Even though, they couldn’t find the source of the problem, they did their best to recommend the next steps. I was impressed by the process of sharing in real time actual photos of the findings through the inspection of my vehicle; smart way to keep the customer informed and engage during the process. Not only it gives you a true sense of what is going on but also peace in mind knowing they are being absolutely forthcoming with recommendations. Unlike other shops and dealers where you go through the process “blindfolded” until you get the Bill. I will absolutely recommend Craftsman Autocare to anybody. Excellent job folks!

Excellent service and personalities

I was having a regular maintenance check at Ourisman Toyota where I was given an estimate on a part for my 2008 RAV4 that I thought was not right. I took my vehicle to craftsman’s and asked them to look at my truck and told them what might be wrong. James was so nice and helpful and got an appointment for me same day. After they did the vehicle inspection they did note that my front driver side strut was leaking and took detailed photos and even took the time to show me. They also advised me that the passenger drive side was not bad but it would be good to get repaired with the alignment. Upon further inspection, My transmission fluid was black and needed to be replace and flushed which the dealer didn’t even mention to me on the check they did. James gave an estimate of the repairs and what was most important to get done first which I appreciated, I took my truck in the next day and they gave me a loaner car. My truck was finished in one day. James and the staff at craftsman’s really took care of me and made me feel more informed about the repairs that needed to be done. They took the time to explain everything in detail and I never felt pressured at all. This will be my new go to repair shop for all my maintenance going forward. I appreciated all the information and the customer service was outstanding.

I'm between 4 and 5 stars so I rounded up. The service was prompt and properly done, price was fair and good communication. I especially liked the complete summary of everything they checked with digital photos so I could see what they saw. My one possible concern is whether they recommend to replace things before they are needed. They recommended, but didn't push, that I replace the filters on the car, which has only 8,000 miles. I have to admit the photos made the filters look a little dirty, but normally filters should be good for 12 - 15k. I have had experiences with other places that pushed for unnecessary repairs for parts that were working, and the previous repair shop in this location was super honest all the time with me, so they have big shoes to fill. So far, I am happy with this new business and I will go back and hope they can maintain the high standards of their predecessor.

These guys are great. I come here for an oil change. They do computerized inspection on your vehicle at no extra charge. I highly recommend them.

I come to Fairfax Craftsman Auto for oil change , for the first time. The staff is always friendly & professionally. The do , great service and finish the job on time, I will recommended to my family and friends I am rating 5 stars.
