Awesome experience with the team. I dropped off my 2015 c7 z07 for an alignment, tires and them installing a short throw shifter for me. Car rides amazing and no issues with the short throw. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

I would give zero Star if I could. I took my car to the Craftsman auto care for patching my flat tire. The manager tried his best not to to patch my flat tire but to sell me a new tire for $800. He won’t help me unless I pay for a new tire. I had to get tire patched other auto care. Warning! Don’t go there unless you want to waste money!
C Buzz - Upon looking through our database, we cannot find any information under your name. We have also spoken with all our employees at our Alexandria location, and no one seems to recall this incident. I'm sorry if we couldn’t patch the tire. For liability reasons we can only patch a tire if it is in the tread and not near the sidewall of the tire. What a rip-off. Took my car here for service on my tire that had a nail in it and was told that I needed to replace all 4 tires because I have an all-wheel drive vehicle. My husband told me this place was trying to rip me off and to take my car to the dealer for a second opinion. I called Craftsman of Alexandria a few days later and asked if they could replace the one tire that needed service and they told me no, I need to replace at least 2 tires, although my thread on the other tires was 60%. They also said I needed spark plugs and various additional services which made me suspicious since my car is under warranty with BMW and had recently been serviced. Later, I took my car to BMW of Alexandria and they replaced my tire with no problem. I showed them the estimate from Craftsman and they too said I was being ripped off. Buyer beware! Update: Recently, I received a response from Craftsmen after writing this review and was told that all 4 tires needed to be replaced. Again, that was not the case. BMW said this place should have replaced the one tire per the customer’s request and and that it was ok. They also said had I replaced the remaining tires Craftsman would have sold my $245 ea. tires to someone else. I work around the corner from this place and my co-worker advised me not to visit. I should have listened to her. Also, I received an estimate for over $1500 for other items that didn’t need repair (per Bmw) Again, a ripoff.
Hi Tiffany – Our recommendation of replacing at least 2 tires is based on the fact that the tread patterns on all-wheel tires need to be matched in pairs in order to experience all the benefits of an all-wheel tread. Otherwise, the 2 tires will not wear and will not perform as the manufacturer intended. There was also a wear issue with the other, undamaged tire, which tread measured 5/32”. The tire industry recommends consideration of replacing tires when they reach 5/32. Further, the back tires were both at 3/32, which will quickly become a safety issue and will not pass the Virginia Safety inspection after they get below 2/32. Additionally, There should not be a difference of more than 2/32” between any of the tires. I apologize if our team didn’t explain all this. We offer options for all repairs and certainly will recommend replacement of all 4 tires not only for safety, but to be considerate of the customer’s time for another visit just for the tires. Because of the mileage, we always recommend the GDI cleaning service to maintain performance, efficiency and emission quality. This requires both the intake and spark plug removal. Everything we recommend is what is best for your BMW to enable it to run at its peak performance. I’m sure you’ll agree that this is why you enjoy driving your BMW. I had the best experience at Craftsman today! Had my car's state inspection completed at a gas station - it failed bc it needed new breaks. Called Craftsman on the spot and they took care of it first thing the following morning. I picked my car up, and headed back to the gas station to get rid of my embarrassing sticker of rejection ... when I noticed that the sticker was gone and had been replaced by the state inspection sticker. I called Craftsman with a head full of steam because I thought I had just paid twice for an inspection (not my finest moment). Brandon was so kind, so polite, and showed me that they had just taken care of it when they saw the paperwork on the front seat! They didn't charge me at all - my receipt just showed the charge for the breaks, and included a discount they had emailed me! Really couldn't have asked for a better experience, and so appreciate Brandon's professionalism despite my tiny temper tantrum. Customers for life!

I got my truck serviced there a couple weeks ago and didn’t have a good experience. The “technicians” left an engine cleaner can inside my hood. I spoke to the manager and nothing was done to compensate for there mistake. Prices for breaks was above average as well. DO NOT recommend.

Do not go to this place for anything. I took my car here for a safety inspection. I had an 8:00 Am appointment and I left at 10:30 with a rejection sticker. It took the inspector that long to find maybe a small amount of oil on one shook absorber on the rear of the car. The inspector also tried to sell me a filter for the inside of the car. He showed me a dirty filter that I am not sure iwas even from my car. He first gave me a price of $50 to replace the filter and when I said no he said how about $10. I would love to know how many car are inspected in the place that are failed because the inspector look and looks until he finds some reason the reject the car. I would suggest that you never go to this place for any auto work
